    · Title your graphic summary, “Chinese Contributions”
    · Draw a picture to represent 6 specific Chinese contributions. Please refer to pp 230-232 of your text. Possible topics include inventions, literature, and science & technology.
    · Include a caption with a FACT about the contribution.
    · Use at least 5 colors in the graphic summary.
  2. Han Family Hierarchy
    Assignment Requirements: (to receive full 10 pts)
    · Draw the levels of the hierarchy from top to bottom. Use a picture to represent each level and label the levels.
    · Answer the following: What did each family member expect from those below them? What was the role of the father? What was the role of the mother?

    · Title your graphic summary, “5 Relationships of Confucian Society”
    · Draw a picture that represents each of the 5 relationships and label each relationship. For a list of the relationships, refer to pp. 225-226 of your text.
    · Who suggested these relationships and why? (HINT: What was going on in China at that time?)
    · In 4 of the relationships, there is a power differential, meaning one person is the authority figure and the other one is below them or subordinate. Explain how the person in authority acts toward the subordinate and how the subordinate acts towards the authority figure in a Confucian society.
    · Use at least 5 colors in the graphic summary
