  1. In-class Assignment (10 pts): SOL Practice Test Corrections - Look up the answers to the ones you had incorrect on the SOL diagnostic test (#s 1-70). Write the full question and the correct response. Use your text book or the SOL packets for reference.
  2. Start SOL Scavenger Hunt - see directions in HW below.

    - Chapter 5: Classical Greece
    - Chapter 6: Classical Rome & Christianity
    - Chapter 8: Rise of Europe (Middle Ages)
    - Chapter 9: Late Middle Ages
    Take test, submit answers, and get instant feedback on your choices. Please print out the Self-Test questions and answers and bring them to class. Be prepared for a quiz or review game that incorporates the information from Self-Tests 1, 2, 5, 6, 8, and 9.
  2. Buy a pack of index cards (I suggest bound index cards, approx. 300-400) and create flashcards from the terms and definitions given on my website. Make flashcards for all vocabulary under the links Prehistory, Egypt, Indus and Huang He, and Mesopotamia. You may EITHER neatly hand-print the terms (on one side) and definitions (on the other side) or you may print out the vocabulary from my site and tape it neatly on the index card. I expect the flashcards to be with you at all times from now until SOL time!

  3. Start Regional Trade in the Eastern Hemisphere Map Activity. Trace the routes and circle/label the correct trading patterns (1-7) on the map. Include a revised key which reflects that information. Begin plotting the diffusion of goods, technology, and ideas on the map. You will complete the activity next class.

    - Read pp. 342-345 and complete Guided Reading 14-1 Central Asia
